My Story

I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Affairs and Policy from the University of Miami and decided to pursue the legal side because I did not just want to study marine science; I wanted to protect the oceans and people that work at sea as well as the vessels they work on. Recently, I finished my Masters in Maritime Law in the UK. 
 
I have lived in Fort Lauderdale since I was three, but my family is from The Netherlands and Mexico so I am conversational in Spanish and Dutch. I love travelling, doing beach clean-ups, scuba diving, boating, beach volleyball, hiking, running and anything outside or on the water. I also love dancing and taking hot yoga classes in my free time.
