My Story

After a childhood spent playing football in the southern boroughs of London and a management degree in Southampton, I had the opportunity to work on the sea. I spent the next 8 years on yachts ranging from 50 to 120 metres, seeing incredible places all over the world from the Caribbean to the Middle East. My favourite onboard trip took us through Asia. Japan was the best place I ever visited on a yacht – its technology and people were fascinating. 

Though I loved my time at sea, I decided to come back onto dry land and enjoy life in one place. Y.CO is the perfect way to combine my knowledge of the yachting industry with the management skills I learnt at university, and it’s a fantastic place to work too.
