Lürssen
Friedrich Lürssen founded the company in 1875, establishing Lürssen Yachts as one of the oldest shipyards in the world. They built a repuation for building beautiful, streamlined racing row boats in 1883 before building the first motorboat in 1886. The following years saw vast growth at Lürssen, with the yacht building division materialising in 1988.
