Interior Redesign
The interior was updated in recent years and evokes local traditions with handcrafted carpentry detailing and luxurious fabrics, perfect for indulgent relaxation. The original master carpenters who worked on the build are still among the crew on board, able to touch up and maintain everything beautifully. Even the door hinges are made from the local ironwood.

Accommodation
The crew on board Dunia Baru are all Indonesian, bar the onboard cruise director, who is French Canadian but has spent a long time in Indonesia and even speaks the language. Nobody knows the best anchorages, diving spots and hiking locations better than the Dunia Baru team. Warm, attentive and friendly they work very hard to ensure that guests' needs are attended to at all times. With a flair for creating magical experiences from barbecues on the beach to sunset champagne hikes, the crew are one of the many highlights of the Dunia Baru charter experience.
