December 2017, former England Rugby Captain Lewis Moody and his team, including Y.CO team member Dave White, took on the Headwest challenge in aid of The Lewis Moody Foundation.

The team battled forests, rivers and volcanoes from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. ​Encountering altitudes of over 2300m and enduring extreme heat and humidity, cold fog and sudden downpours.

Lewis says, “This was the third in a series of unique endurance challenges I have personally taken on for The Foundation. Headwest saw myself and an inspiring team of men and women attempt to cover 300km over 8 days as we trekked through jungle, cycled across mountains and rafted along the rapids to cross Costa Rica from the east to west coast.”

Y.CO raised a total of The money raised has gone directly to the projects funded by The Foundation to support and give hope to families like Oliver's affected by the devastating diagnosis of a brain tumour.

Y.CO raised a total of £113, 800 for this challenge.
