A 41.4m all aluminium planing yacht carving up top speeds of 29 knots makes Aquila a speed demon’s dream. Built in 2016 by Italian shipyard Baglietto, with a 2020 refit that earned a World Superyachts Award nomination, the sleek shark-like black exterior promises sporty prowess from a performance-forward boat, equipped with underwater lights to spotlight head-turning exterior curves.

An on-deck Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads sets the standard for Aquila’s tremendous outdoor deck areas. An awning system on the foredeck shades the whirlpool when needed. Further awnings on the aft deck, bow and upper deck emphasise the joy of leisurely outdoor living at its best, with lounge areas that stretch for miles.

The star of the dazzling main deck guest area is the formal dining for 10 with an extensive wine cellar wall complemented by striking modern art. The renovated contemporary interior is linked to an inviting al fresco dining area aft, which boasts its own custom-built wine cooler for those who wish to continue the grapevine vibe outdoors.

A sumptuous cinema sky lounge on the upper deck brings all the movie magic. Decked out in zebra print sofas and plush grey carpet with a circular skylight, it’s accessed via a soaring staircase with a silver python handrail for the most exotic of entrances to a cosy film experience, day and night.

Sea-Doos, jet skis, seabobs, paddleboards, water skis and even a Jet Surf ultimate will keep the young at heart smiling. For inflatable action, the two tenders will tow guests into a buoyant frenzy while the floating inflatable pool adds another dimension.
