Nosy Be to Mahé. From Madagascar’s untamed north to the coralline dreamscapes of the Seychelles, this is a journey for true explorers. Over eight nights, Aqua Lares takes you deep into the wild—where giant tortoises roam, limestone peaks rise from turquoise waters, and some of the world’s most untouched reefs await beneath the surface.
Day 01
Begin your voyage in Nosy Be, where you’ll be warmly welcomed onto Aqua Lares—your private sanctuary for the days ahead. Settle into your suite, meet your crew, and start exploring the ship’s elegant social spaces as the anticipation of adventure begins to build.
Day 02
Dive straight into nature’s theatre. Begin the day with a snorkel through vibrant coral gardens—home to clownfish, parrotfish, and gliding reef sharks. Later, hike to Nosy Hara’s summit, where jagged limestone peaks and ancient baobab trees shape a landscape that feels almost prehistoric. Watch for the world’s tiniest chameleon along the way.
Day 03
Step ashore on Assumption Island, a remote speck in the Indian Ocean with untouched white sands and thriving coastal ecosystems. Join a guided nature walk through bird-filled brushland or keep it simple—barefoot and quiet—with seabirds overhead and giant tortoises lumbering nearby.
Day 04
Aldabra isn’t just remote—it’s legendary. With over 100,000 giant tortoises roaming its coral atoll and marine life that includes manta rays, turtles, and reef sharks, it’s one of Earth’s rarest wild places. Come face to face with nature in its most primal form, above and below the waterline.
Day 05
Start your morning exploring Cosmoledo’s inner lagoon by tender. This otherworldly atoll is famed for its rare birdlife, including masked gannets and brown boobies, seen nowhere else in the Seychelles. The calm waters and wild cliffs make for an unforgettable drift through nature.
Day 05
In the afternoon, gear up for one of the best dives of your life. The Astove Wall—often dubbed the “underwater Grand Canyon”—drops dramatically into the deep, covered in soft coral and teeming with marine life. Whether you're diving or snorkeling, expect encounters with rays, reef sharks, and crystalline visibility up to 40 metres.
Day 06
Farquhar is for those who love the road less travelled. Surrounded by surreal blue waters and rich reefs, it’s a haven for divers, snorkellers, flyfishers, and kayakers alike. Red-footed boobies soar overhead while you drift between coral gardens barely touched by human hands.
Day 07
Wake up to Alphonse—a dreamy, forested island ringed by shallow coral lagoons. Explore the palm-lined trails, snorkel vibrant reefs just off the beach, or kayak through calm channels as reef fish dart below. It’s your tropical playground—choose your pace.
Day 08
Spend the morning discovering Poivre, where the north island holds a lush coconut forest and the ruins of a colonial distillery. Look out for migratory birds like ruddy turnstones and whimbrels. Down south, you’ll find an uninhabited island ruled entirely by nature—its lagoons alive with stingrays, turtles, and juvenile sharks.
Day 08
In the afternoon, journey to Desroches Island. Here, you’ll encounter giant tortoises and snorkel a blooming reef system that encircles the island. With palm-fringed shores and warm waters, it’s the kind of place that lingers long after the journey ends.
Day 09
Enjoy a relaxed final breakfast as Aqua Lares glides towards disembarkation. Bid farewell to the crew and this exceptional voyage—but don’t be surprised if you’re already dreaming of a return.
