Witness the giant tides at the world famous Buccaneer Archipelago, a collection of almost 1,000 rocky islands and huge rocks dating back millions of years. With tidal ranges up to 12 metres, this is one of the most remote areas in the world, and a favourite of adventurers and explorers.

Depart Cygnet Bay across King Sound. From here, to Hidden Island, home of Silica Beach, the whitest beach (and the only one of its kind) in the Kimberley. Whales can be spotted on the way. Relax on a beach of pure white silica sand nudged by spectacular turquoise sea, reminiscent of the Whitsundays.

Talbot Bay
Pass by Cockatoo and Koolan Island, known for iron ore mining, and on to Talbot Bay and the Horizontal Falls, one of Kimberley’s most incredible natural phenomena. These unique waterfalls, described by David Attenborough as "one of the greatest natural wonders of the world", have water passing horizontally through two narrow gorges. Powerful tidal movements create a waterfall effect as the water banks up against one side of the narrow cliff passage, repeated on the turning tide. Explore by tender and see them up close.

Montgomery Reef
With every changing tide, as the ocean recedes Montgomery Reef rises. With tides over 10m in height over a single spring cycle, up to 5m of reef gradually emerges from the waves. Covering an area over 270 km², this is Australia’s largest inshore reef, with shallow lagoons, seagrass beds and brightly coloured corals, home to sponges, crabs, cushion stars, turtles, octopi and more.

Go ashore and view indigenous Wandjina rock art in ancient caves. These artworks were created by local indigenous people hundreds of years ago. A local aboriginal guide enhances your experience of this spot with stories and legends. Later, tender to Scotties Creek to explore the rainforest and swim in a cool forest lagoon.

Depart Raft Point early for a morning voyage along the spectacular Kimberley coastline, taking in gorges and Coastlines. Arrive at Boondook Bay. Spend the afternoon out on the tenders exploring or relax onboard your yacht, taking in the views from deck.

Return to Cygnet Bay, back across King Sound. Spot whales on the way. Transfer to shore via the working pearl farm, one of the oldest in Australia, before returning to Broome for onward travel.
