From your first anchorage off a white-sand island to exploring vibrant coral reefs, WWII wrecks, and manta ray cleaning stations, each day brings new discoveries.

Days 01 & 02

Samaria Island

You’ll be welcomed aboard at the Driftwood Resort jetty in Alotau, where the crew will greet you and help you settle in. Unwind and enjoy the onboard comfort and hospitality.
The first anchorage is off a serene island with powdery white sand—an ideal spot to ease into your adventure. Just 2 nautical miles away, you’ll have the chance to visit a manta ray cleaning station which is an amazing opportunity to observe the graceful creatures. The surrounding reefs also offer sightings of rare pygmy seahorses and waspfish for those keen to explore beneath the surface.
As evening falls, enjoy a relaxed beach barbecue or opt for a romantic dinner served under the stars.

On day 2, visit the Samaria island pearl farm for a guided tour and purchase high quality pearls at farm prices. In the afternoon, you have the option to go diving or fishing.

Day 03

Basilaki Island

Enjoy incredible reef dives with abundant sea life. See a WWII P38 Lightning fighter plane wreck close up.

Days 04 & 05

Daiwari Island

We’ll head 20nm north to a beautiful island group inside a scattered reef system where there are many dive sites featuring interesting marine life and sharks including Hammerheads, Silver Tip and Grey Reef sharks.

Days 06 & 07

Hiliwau

Arrive in Hiliwau after a 3-hour cruise. Head ashore to meet local villagers and experience a traditional dance. A short trek away is the Skull cave and for the more adventurous a 30-minute jungle trek will bring you to a beautiful, secluded waterfall. Underwater you’ll experience some of the most pristine coral gardens in the world.

Days 08 & 09

Duma Duma Bay

We’ll cruise for 3 hours to Normanby Island to dive some isolated reefs before making a trek into the jungle to see the rare and beautiful endemic species Bird of Paradise. It’s a great opportunity to explore nearby Sewa Bay on paddle boards or kayaks and snorkel the nearby reefs.

Days 10 & 11

Deedes Lagoon

We’ll cruise to the beautiful Engineer Islands where we can anchor inside a tropical lagoon. Great diving, snorkeling and paddle boarding in every direction!
