Playa Huevos

The beautiful and peaceful anchorage of Playa Huevos. Surrounded by lush green forest, white sandy beaches and multiple small islands, watch the sun rise as the Howler monkeys sound. Following breakfast, take a jet ski tour into Mangrove Palmares, weaving in and out of the narrow water channels enclosed by 30m tall trees, huge roots and incredible scenery. Lunch will either be served on board or we will venture to a secluded beach for a barbeque.

This area lends itself to water activities. Test out the yacht’s water toys, go on a fun dive or surf the waves as Witches Rock, one of the best surf spots in Costa Rica. Come the evening, the crew can whisk you ashore via tender, where you can dine at Playa Priete Restaurant.

Isla Tortuga

The crew will lift anchor early to head north to the Nicoya Peninsula. This protected area of islets offers white sandy beaches lined with some of the tallest palm trees you’ll ever see. Snorkel, paddleboard, beachcomb and relax surrounded by the towering cliffs of this Pacific peninsula.

Explore the far reaches of the peninsula to Cabo Blanco. Pods of 1,000+ spinner dolphins, breaching whales, fantastic snorkelling and untouched beaches are our reward for venturing off the beaten track. For a lower-key option, we will string a hammock between two palms and pour you a frozen cocktail.

Finish the afternoon with a beach game of Bocce Ball or a quiet tour around the deserted bays via kayak or paddleboard.

Drake Bay

Wake up at the stunning quiet Drake Bay, nestled in dense rainforest that flows down to the harbour. A small eco resort village is an inviting spot for a fresh juice or locally inspired cuisine.

Drake Bay’s main attraction is its proximity to Isla Cano, a Jurassic Park style island about 12 miles to the west in the crystal clear blue waters of the Pacific. A protected park, it offers world class snorkelling and diving, with whale sharks, manta rays, huge schools of pelagic fish and bright colourful corals.

Back in Drake Bay, explore on the yacht’s Waverunners, which will be ready to take you into one of the nearby jungle estuaries. Look out for howler monkeys, scarlet macaws and freshwater turtles as you cruise a land seemingly untouched by humans.

Golfo Dulce

Following a 70 nautical mile overnight cruise, wake up to the spectacular anchorage of Little Bay (Golfo Dulce). Surrounded by dense green jungle and towering mountains, this anchorage is located inside the only tropical fjord in America. Spend the day experiencing the rainforest, waterfalls and wildlife. Take a tender through the mangroves; visit the Botanical Garden, a wonderful tropical paradise; and hike easy trails inside the Golfito National Park, a luxury jungle home to the small Titi monkeys. Fill any gaps in your day with various water sports, from jet skis to kayaks. Cruise 70 nautical miles overnight.

Isla del Caño

Arrive at Isla del Caño, a tiny island off Costa Rica. As a marine protected area, Isla del Caño is ideal for a day on the water so take your pick between kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sport fishing or a bit of everything. For those drawn to the land, the island is also a national park offering exceptional hikes.

A short tender ride offshore will provide you with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to snorkel with hundreds of spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and other pelagic – the ultimate dolphin superpod experience. Tonight, we will cruise for 12 hours north to Playa Conchal.

Playa Conchal

Watch the sun rise over the peaceful Playa Conchal, keeping your eyes peeled for humpback whales. Considered to be one of the most exotic beaches on the Costa Rican Golden Coast, Playa Conchal boasts some of the clearest and calmest aquamarine waters. With comfortable temperatures all year round and a fantastic array of marine life, snorkeling here is a must. For the more adventurous guests, you can scuba dive at Punta Gorda and enjoy the other water sports available. Swim to the beach where the crew will set up a barbeque for lunch. Spend the rest of the day in Palo Verde National Park with a tour guide. Make the most of your final night on board.
