My Story

I’ve always loved the sea and so it seemed entirely natural to join the Royal Navy when I left school. I am now committed to mentoring the next generations of seafarers to achieve their full potential and fulfill their love of the sea. My naval life was an exhilarating roller-coaster ride as a helicopter and fighter pilot, commanding a Sea Harrier squadron, two frigates, the biggest ship in the Royal Navy and finally heading maritime aviation as a Rear Admiral. Any concerns of what my second career would bring were short lived when I met the Y.CO team who helped me make the transition into yachting.
