Clean Energy

Y.CO is committed to responsible yachting, and we’re proud to support RMI’s Island Energy Programme – an initiative that transitions island communities from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Though these communities contribute the least to global emissions, they face the greatest risks from climate change. As an industry that relies on these nations, we recognise that yachting has a responsibility to help them.

Join Us in Our Pledge

We believe the most memorable yachting experiences come from the people you meet—both your crew and the local communities you visit from these cherished destinations. We’re asking you to join us in backing RMI’s preservation efforts. Together, we can ensure these island communities receive the energy infrastructure they need to thrive.

How We've Helped So Far

Microgrids safeguard critical infrastructure, like medical clinics, enabling them to remain operational during natural disasters. In 2023, we donated 20,000 USD to RMI to fund solar microgrids for primary schools in Dominica. In 2024, we pledged a further 20,000 USD, and with your contribution we hope to reach our goal of 50,000 USD by summer 2025. Achieving this will bring microgrids to four medical facilities in the Bahamas, Anguilla, the US Virgin Islands, and Saint Lucia.
