Captain Steve Dart has many strings to his instructor bow, including the bonus of being a qualified primary school teacher, all while running a tight knit and highly skilled crew of 13.

Trained at Le cordon Bleu in Paris, and with a stint perfecting her Thai cuisine while volunteering at the Miami Buddhist temple, Laurentia’s head chef specialises in Provencal, Mediterranean and Thai cuisine, with a little baking and pastry thrown in for good measure. Accompanied by a highly competent sous chef, guests’ taste buds are spoiled for choice, all day, every day.

As an approved RYA training centre for personal watercraft, guests aboard Laurentia can dip their tow into watersports for the very first time in the company of qualified crew, or even rise to the lofty ranks of becoming an instructor themselves. The opportunities are there for the taking.

A boat with children and enjoyment in mind, Laurentia’s toy collection spans the gamut of entertainment, from the speedy jet skis, wakeboards, SeaBobs and towables to the more leisurely paddle boards and kayaks. There’s even kids’ sand and beach toys for desert island excursions, an anti-jellyfish sea pool and board games when the wet weather sets in. For the truly adventurous, the yacht’s three tenders include a 6m Castoldi with a landing craft bow and a 12m Intrepid Nomad for all-out capability.
