Bahia Herradura

Arrive at San José’s Juan Santamaria International airport, where you will be greeted by the captain of your yacht. On your way to Bahia Herradura to board the yacht, discover Costa Rica’s west coast by road. Board, meet the crew and enjoy an evening cruise to Tortuga island. Relax at anchor in surroundings of extraordinary beauty and stillness.

Isla Tortuga

The crew will lift anchor early to head north to the Nicoya Peninsula. This protected area of islets offers white sandy beaches lined with some of the tallest palm trees you’ll ever see. Snorkel, paddleboard, beachcomb and relax surrounded by the towering cliffs of this Pacific peninsula.

Explore the far reaches of the peninsula to Cabo Blanco. Pods of 1,000+ spinner dolphins, breaching whales, fantastic snorkelling and untouched beaches are our reward for venturing off the beaten track. For a lower-key option, we will string a hammock between two palms and pour you a frozen cocktail.

Finish the afternoon with a beach game of Bocce Ball or a quiet tour around the deserted bays via kayak or paddleboard.

Pacuare River

After breakfast, transfer to the local Tambor airstrip and board a private plane for an unforgettable sightseeing trip across the country. Touch down in the Del Monte banana plantation and transfer to the Pacuare river for an exciting cruise or raft down one of the lushest rainforest waterways in the world. Lunch will be served alongside a beautiful waterfall as you enjoy the breathtaking beauty of one of the world’s greatest rafting rivers. Jump on an afternoon flight to the town of Quepos, taking in incredible views of the landscapes, and rejoin the crew for relaxing sunset drinks and dinner.

Isla del Caño

Arrive at Isla del Caño, a tiny island off Costa Rica. As a marine protected area, Isla del Caño is ideal for a day on the water so take your pick between kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sport fishing or a bit of everything. For those drawn to the land, the island is also a national park offering exceptional hikes.

A short tender ride offshore will provide you with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to snorkel with hundreds of spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and other pelagic – the ultimate dolphin superpod experience. Tonight, we will cruise for 12 hours north to Playa Conchal.

Sirena

Experience Corcovado National Park as you head for Sirena, the centre of this magnificent rainforest. Discover plants and animals found nowhere else on the planet, from wild cats to Costa Rica’s largest population of scarlet macaws and various species of monkeys. Return to Puerto Jiménez for an evening of exceptional fresh food prepared to your tastes, drinks and storytelling.

Boquete

Travel south to Puerto Armuelles in Panama, where private transport will take you to the famous cloud forest near Boquete. Hike the remote virgin forest surrounding the perimeter of Volcan Baru national park, taking in waterfalls and spotting wildlife, including rare resplendent quetzels, monkeys, sloths and 200+ species of tropical bird.

Isla de Coiba

Cruise to Isla de Coiba, the largest island in Central America. Snorkel and dive the reefs, or try the area’s fantastic deep sea fishing. Abundant sealife here includes turtles, several species of whale and bright colourful fish. Later, experience Coiba's lush tropical rainforests, rich in biodiversity and home to rare creatures including the iconic red and green macaw.

Puerto Jimenez

On the last day of our charter, cruise back to Puerto Jiménez to disembark and fly to san josé for onward connection.
